One of the session's highlights will be the swearing-in of Ms. María Pilar Durán Cabezas as a councilwoman, representing the PSOE. Following this, the approval of the draft minutes from the sessions held on June 18th and 30th, 2026, will be addressed.
The agenda also includes the initial approval of the Regulations for the Operation of the Volunteer Pool attached to the Department of Social Welfare and Seniors. Furthermore, a request to modify the registration of the action "Renovation of sports court pavement," part of the Community of Madrid's Regional Investment Program 2022-2026, will be submitted for approval, adjusting the amount to the technical project's budget.
Several files concerning the recognition and modification of credits will be discussed, including File 2/2026 REFA for extrajudicial recognition of credits and various credit modifications financed by Treasury Remnants and extraordinary credits.
The plenary session will debate and vote on proposals presented by different municipal groups. These include a proposal from the Mixed Group (VOX candidacy) on the recovery and improvement of public spaces; another from the Mixed Group (Más Madrid San Fernando de Henares candidacy) urging the Community of Madrid to join the single transport pass program. Proposals from the Popular Municipal Group regarding the sovereignty of Ceuta and Melilla and the optimization of educational resources, as well as one on canine genetic identification testing, will also be addressed.
Finally, proposals from the Socialist Municipal Group in support of Ceuta and concerning the infrastructure of Metro line 7b will be debated, along with a proposal from the delegate councilwoman for Finance, Heritage, and Education to demand the withdrawal of the increased "Firefighter Fee" from the Community of Madrid.
The second part of the plenary will focus on the oversight of other corporate bodies, including the reporting of decrees, resolutions, and credit modification files, as well as questions and requests.
