Paracuellos de Jarama has unveiled a temporary shade structure next to the Splashpad water park, situated on Paseo del Radar. This improvement addresses one of the most frequent requests from residents and aims to provide a more comfortable space for those accompanying children while they play with water.
Previously, the water park's rest area lacked sun protection, making waits difficult for parents and grandparents, especially during busy, hot days. The new structure offers a sheltered spot from the sun, making the experience more pleasant for both children and accompanying adults.
This solution is provisional and will be in place throughout the summer season. Meanwhile, the City Council is working on a project to create a permanent seating area that will durably meet the needs of the water park's users.
