The mobilization, scheduled for 6:00 PM, seeks to highlight the current situation of the 0-3 age educational stage and the need for significant changes. Under the slogan “Yellow Tide,” citizens are encouraged to wear yellow shirts and show their support for what is considered a fundamental educational phase.
The call emphasizes the importance of family support, as they join the demands, believing that the current situation directly affects the quality of care and education their children receive. The movement brings together professionals from direct, indirect, and private nursery schools, as well as schools integrated into CEIPS, demonstrating the cross-cutting nature of the problem across the entire sector.
“"We don't just look after, we educate."
Among the main demands are the reduction of classroom ratios, to ensure more personalized and higher-quality attention, and the improvement of working conditions for educational staff. The collective also calls for greater public investment and effective recognition of this stage within the educational system.
“"We are the voice of childhood."
The concentration aims to be a meeting point for professionals and families in defense of dignified, accessible, and quality early childhood education, as well as fair working conditions for all involved. The initiative is driven by professionals from the 0-3 Early Childhood Education sector and has the support of families and various associations linked to nursery schools.
