The criminal group operated by contacting camera technicians via social media, offering them contracts to film music videos. To carry out the robberies, the members rented properties where they would lure the professionals under the guise of a shoot.
Once inside the premises, the assailants intimidated the victims with firearms and bladed weapons, physically assaulting them to steal professional equipment and obtain access codes to their bank accounts. According to investigations, the economic damage caused by these robberies exceeds 70,000 euros.
The police operation resulted in the arrest of four individuals in Madrid and A Coruña. During searches conducted in Madrid, Fuenlabrada, and A Coruña, officers seized 13 kilograms of hashish, over 20,000 euros in cash, various mobile phones, and items used to conceal identities during the crimes.
The judicial authority has ordered provisional prison for the two alleged leaders of the gang. The investigation remains open to determine if there are more individuals involved or additional criminal acts linked to this organization.
