The service's multidisciplinary intervention has been key, providing psychological support to 116 families, managing 65 family mediation processes, and offering legal advice to 101 families. Furthermore, parental skills training has been promoted for 149 families, totaling 856 intervention sessions that strengthen the public Social Services system's response capacity.
The SAF has placed particular emphasis on families with minors, assisting 146 cases and covering the needs of 197 children and adolescents in the municipality. Likewise, priority has been given to assisting vulnerable families through direct referrals from Social Services, ensuring coordinated and effective intervention.
The Department highlights the service's adaptation to newly identified needs, such as the increase in emotional problems, family conflicts, bullying situations, and separation processes, including among seniors. The legal area has extended its hours to meet the growing demand for issues like divorces, inheritances, and other legal procedures. The City Council has also promoted the Family Training Space, with activities focused on education, coexistence, and prevention, consolidating a strategy of anticipation and family strengthening.
