The councilor for Culture and Festivities of Coslada has unveiled the festive agenda, which involves the participation of 28 entities, associations, parent-teacher associations (AMPAS), schools, and local groups. Events will be spread across various locations in the city, notably Salvador Allende Park, La Jaramilla Theater, Plaza Mayor, and the Margarita Nelken Cultural Center.
The program blends tradition, music, popular culture, and family entertainment. Offerings include concerts, children's shows, dance, street theater, a traditional market, circus acts, brass bands, afternoon gatherings, and a popular open-air dance party.
“"From the Coslada City Council, we wanted to highlight the joint work of associations, clubs, regional houses, dance schools, AMPAS, and citizen groups, as well as the work of municipal employees who make this program possible."
The Traditional Market, located at the Margarita Nelken Cultural Center, will feature musical entertainment, storytelling, street theater, and family shows. Meanwhile, Salvador Allende Park will host concerts, children's activities, free inflatables, traditional games, DJ sets, and the popular open-air dance party.
Additionally, La Jaramilla Theater will present musical and choral performances. Local neighborhood and cultural entities will also contribute with activities such as a chess tournament, distribution of carnations, tasting of Madrid-style stew (cocido madrileño), and the traditional San Isidro doughnuts. A highlight will be the XXV Dance Schools and AMPAS Meeting, bringing together various dance groups from Coslada for three days in the Plaza Mayor.
