The initiative, driven by the Department of Family, Childhood and Youth, aims to allow parents to enjoy the Fairs without compromising their babies' needs.
This facility, open daily from 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM, features air conditioning, a sink with hot and cold water, a microwave for warming baby food, and two changing tables equipped with hygiene products.
The room also offers mineral water, four seats dedicated to nursing, and a 32-inch television. Staff will be on hand during operating hours for supervision and maintenance.
“"We want our Fairs to also be a comfortable space designed for families, making it easier for those with babies to enjoy them with peace of mind and all the services they need."
Councilor Pilar Cruz emphasized the goal of making the Fairs more accessible for those attending with young children. This room aims to simplify the balance between diaper changes, feeding, and nursing with enjoying the festivities, which attract thousands of people daily.
