Following a network breakdown, several areas of Alcalá de Henares, including Caballería Española and the City Center District, are gradually regaining water supply, although pressure remains insufficient in some buildings and more distant neighborhoods.

In areas such as Caballería Española, Nueva Alcalá, the vicinity of the Railway Station, and the City Center District, water has begun to flow again. However, the pressure is low, making it difficult for the supply to reach upper floors in buildings without water pumps, as reported by residents.
Despite this partial improvement, more distant neighborhoods, including El Ensanche, El Olivar, Espartales, and Ciudad 10, continue to report complaints from residents still without service. In La Garena, another remote area, the company Aguas de Alcalá has informed residents of a scheduled service interruption between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM due to network improvement works.

"After the repair of the fault, homes will gradually recover the supply, as the flow returns with strength to our city and the pressure fully recovers."

Alcalá de Henares, being the largest and furthest municipality from the repaired infrastructure, will be the last to see full service restoration, which will not occur simultaneously across all its neighborhoods. In fact, by 8:00 AM on Wednesday, April 15, most of the city still had no water.
Meanwhile, the Príncipe de Asturias Hospital in Alcalá de Henares has reported minimal water cuts, stating that the incident has not affected patient care activities. At the Francisco Díaz Comprehensive Diagnostic and Treatment Center, although surgeries were not suspended, staff had to use bidistilled water for their procedures.
