The Youth Department of the Mejorada del Campo City Council is promoting the 'Muros libres' project, an initiative that provides young people in the municipality with designated spaces for urban art creation. This program aims to foster artistic expression and beautify various areas of the town.
On this occasion, participants have painted the wall of the fronton court located on Miguel Hernández Street. The artwork is inspired by the Torrente film saga, directed by and starring Santiago Segura, one of the most recognized franchises in Spanish cinema.
The mural depicts the iconic character of Torrente, recognizable by his characteristic toothpick in his mouth, alongside Antoñito, the character played by Cañita Brava. The latter is shown with a speech bubble containing one of the film's most famous lines.

The City Council reminds those interested in joining the 'Muros libres' initiative that they can apply for a space. Once the request is approved by the Department, they are provided with paint to prepare the wall and begin their work, with complete thematic freedom.
The graffiti and drawings remain on display for a period of two months. After this time, the space can be requested again for new artistic interventions, ensuring a constant rotation of artworks.
