The city of Alcalá de Henares is preparing for a journey back in time with the Grand Circus Maximus, an event that will recreate the majesty of ancient Rome at the Pico del Obispo.

From April 30 to May 3, the Pico del Obispo venue in Alcalá de Henares will be transformed into an authentic Roman circus. This spectacle, part of the Complutum Renacida program, will offer attendees an immersion into the imperial era with thrilling chariot races and gladiator fights.
The company Legend Especialistas will be responsible for bringing these historical representations to life, each lasting approximately one hour. Performances are scheduled for April 30 at 7:00 PM; May 1 and 2 with shows at 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM; and May 3 at 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
Tickets for this unique event are already available for purchase starting from 13 euros, and can be acquired through the entradas.com platform. A large audience is expected to enjoy this cultural proposal.
In addition to the main show, Complutum Renacida will complement the experience with a Roman market in the city's historic center. This market will feature artisans and merchants, along with legionary parades and exhibitions showcasing equestrian techniques from the era, enriching the cultural and leisure offerings.
