Young Man Injured in Getafe After Being Hit at Illegal Car Meet

A young man sustained a head injury after being run over at an illegal car meet in Getafe's Los Olivos industrial estate, just minutes after proposing to his partner.

The event unfolded in the early hours of last Saturday, between 1:00 and 3:00 AM. Emergency medical personnel from Summa 112 treated the injured individual at the scene, confirming a traumatic brain injury. He was subsequently transported to Hospital 12 de Octubre, where he remains hospitalized.
The driver involved in the hit-and-run fled the scene but was later apprehended in Fuenlabrada. The unauthorized gathering took place on Destreza street, a secluded area of the industrial park, close to the M-301 highway heading towards Perales del Río.
Attendees of this event arrived in staggered fashion, primarily via the A-4. Following the incident, most participants quickly dispersed. The Local Police have identified several individuals, predominantly from municipalities near Getafe and the northern region of Toledo.
