A vehicle fire on the A-4, at kilometer 30 near Valdemoro, caused traffic jams of up to three kilometers on the entry to Madrid during Monday morning.

The incident, which resulted in no injuries, was reported around 6:40 AM on Monday. Two units from the Community of Madrid Fire Department quickly responded to the scene to extinguish the flames.
According to sources from Emergencias 112 Comunidad de Madrid, the driver of the affected vehicle managed to exit safely before the emergency services arrived. Firefighters have since withdrawn from the area.
The main consequence of the event was the considerable traffic jam that formed on the A-4, impacting commuters heading into the capital during the morning rush hour.
