The city of Móstoles will host its XV Health Week from April 20 to 25, offering a program of over 50 free activities designed to promote well-being and healthy habits among the local population.

Under the slogan ‘Live your well-being’, the initiative, organized by the Municipal Health School of the Móstoles City Council through the Department of Sports and Health, aims to engage all audiences in conferences, workshops, and healthy walks. Most activities will have limited capacity and require prior registration.
The program will begin on Monday, April 20, with the session ‘Path to autonomy: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and adult life’. Throughout the week, various topics will be addressed, such as stretching, pelvic floor physiotherapy, nutrition, relaxation techniques, photoprotection and skin cancer prevention, as well as menopause care and workshops for cognitive training.
Highlighted conferences include talks on deafness, oral health in older adults, advances in Parkinson's disease, medication management, appropriate antibiotic use, eye care and visual health, ADHD, and the importance of oncological support.
Additionally, interactive activities such as a well-being gymkhana, an information table on toxic oil syndrome, cognitive capacity assessment sessions (from April 20 to 23), and workshops on using online health resources, such as the digital health folder, are planned.
Healthy walks will also play a central role, with events like ‘Steps that add health’, the ‘Healthy walk: promoting physical exercise from primary care’, and the Diabetes Walk, which will conclude the week on April 25. Concurrently, talks and workshops will be offered in educational centers on sign language, adapted sports, social media, mental health, and oral health.
Registration for activities with limited capacity can be done at the Juan XXIII Senior Center, located at Calle Juan XXIII, 6, ground floor, between April 13 and 16, from 09:30 to 11:30, unless a different procedure is indicated. The remaining activities will have free access until full capacity is reached.
The initiative is supported by nearly thirty socio-health entities in the municipality, as well as the Rey Juan Carlos University Clinic, the Móstoles University Hospital, the Rey Juan Carlos University Hospital, the Professional College of Dental Hygienists of Madrid, the Official College of Pharmacists of Madrid (COFM), and the Emergency Medical Assistance Services (SAMU).
