A 32-year-old man was injured early Wednesday morning after his car overturned on the M-40, near Alcorcón, where the Guardia Civil discovered nitrous oxide canisters, burglary tools, and a wad of cash inside the vehicle.

The incident occurred shortly after 1 AM at exit 31 of the M-40, as reported by 112 Comunidad de Madrid. SUMMA emergency services attended to the driver at the scene, who sustained a possible hip fracture or dislocation.
After initial assessment, the injured man was transported by ambulance to Hospital 12 de Octubre, where his condition was described as potentially serious. The surprising discovery came when the Guardia Civil inspected the overturned car.
Inside the vehicle, officers found several canisters of nitrous oxide, a ram, a pickaxe designed for making 'butrones' (holes in walls for burglary), and a significant wad of cash, according to Telemadrid.
The regional public broadcaster also noted that although two people were traveling in the car, only the injured driver was present when Alcorcón Firefighters and the Guardia Civil arrived. Authorities have launched an investigation to clarify the circumstances of the event and locate the other occupant of the vehicle.
