The Alcorcón City Council has formalized a coordination agreement with SUMMA 112, through the Madrid Health Service (SERMAS), to optimize emergency healthcare response in the municipality, joining other localities in the Community of Madrid.

This strategic agreement allows for the integration of municipal emergency health resources, managed by the Alcorcón Municipal Civil Protection Group, into the SUMMA 112 communication network. Coordination will be carried out using the TETRA system, ensuring fluid communication and more efficient management of emergencies.
Thanks to this agreement, SUMMA 112 will be able to utilize a Basic Life Support Ambulance belonging to Alcorcón Civil Protection. This unit will operate under the direct supervision of the Community of Madrid's Medical Emergency Service from the moment the agreement is signed, representing a significant improvement in local response capability.
The initiative is part of a series of similar agreements that SUMMA 112 has established with various city councils in the Community of Madrid. Localities such as Algete, Collado-Villalba, Daganzo, El Álamo, Navalcarnero, Pinto, San Sebastián de los Reyes, Tres Cantos, Villanueva de la Cañada, Campo Real, Villar del Olmo, Ambite, Pozuelo del Rey, and Nuevo Baztán are already part of this collaborative network.
Collaboration between different entities is essential to strengthen public health and ensure an adequate response to any eventuality. These agreements not only improve coordination but also optimize the use of available resources, directly benefiting the citizens of Alcorcón and the entire region.
