AD Alcorcón achieved a resounding 4-0 victory against Hércules CF in a match they dominated from start to finish. The 'alfarero' team displayed superior play, winning most duels and consistently creating danger, especially from set pieces. Goals were scored by Vacas in the first half, followed by Aparicio, Rojas, and Blanco in the second, sealing the outcome.
This defeat represents a significant setback for Hércules' playoff aspirations, as they appeared ineffective in both attack and organization. Conversely, Alcorcón is now closer to playoff positions and has boosted its confidence for the final stretch of the season.
Economically, the municipality of Alcorcón recorded its lowest unemployment figure for March in its history, with a total of 7,041 people out of work. This marks a year-on-year decrease of 347 individuals, representing a 4.71% reduction, surpassing the regional average. The decline in unemployment has been particularly significant among women and in the 24 to 44 age group.
“"The IMEPE is a key link between job seekers, local commerce, and businesses. The goal is for new job opportunities to directly benefit the residents of the municipality."
Furthermore, the Alcorcón City Council has launched the Vibra 2026 Awards, a competition aimed at young people aged 14 to 25, designed to promote creativity and urban art. Disciplines include urban music, graffiti, and hip hop. Participants, both individual and group, can register until the end of April. Finalists will have the opportunity to perform at the “Alcorcón Vibra 2026” event, where a jury and the public will select the winners.
Prizes for the winners include 500 euros, the recording of a professional music video, opportunities for studio music production, and increased visibility for their artistic projects.
