The Luis Orione Foundation is organizing the II Inclusive Race in Pozuelo de Alarcón on Sunday, April 26, a sporting and solidarity event to raise funds for its projects in Spain and internationally.

The Colonia de los Ángeles will host this event, starting at 10:00 AM with the start and finish line on Calle Extremadura. The organization hopes to surpass the participation of the first edition, promoting the visibility of integration and support for the most vulnerable groups.
To encourage maximum participation, the race offers two modalities: a competitive 5-kilometer race and a 750-meter solidarity walk. The latter is designed so that people of any age or physical condition can join, including those in wheelchairs, with family, or friends, ensuring a fully inclusive character.

"We invite all residents to join this challenge. Running for Pozuelo, on this day, means running for those who need it most in any corner of the world."

100% of the funds raised will go to the projects of the Luis Orione Foundation. In Spain, it will support the work of the Hogar Don Orione in Pozuelo de Alarcón, a residential center for adults with intellectual disabilities and high dependency. Centers in Almonte, Posada de Llanes, and Cascante will also benefit.
Internationally, the proceeds will contribute to the fight against malnutrition in Barquisimeto, Venezuela, and support Payatas and Cottolengo in the Philippines. The Pozuelo de Alarcón City Council promotes the event, ensuring its safety and inclusive nature, and various companies such as Lex, La Finca Grand Café, and Student Experience, among others, collaborate as sponsors.
Registrations remain open, and the organization encourages Madrid residents to participate in a morning that will include refreshments, a runner's bag, music, and raffles. For those unable to attend, the Dorsal 0 option is available to contribute to the cause.
