The Móstoles City Council has launched the 2026 Participatory Budgets, allocating 1.5 million euros for residents to propose neighborhood improvements.

Each of the city's six districts will receive 250,000 euros for investments and improvements in municipal public spaces and facilities, such as actions in parks, children's areas, or accessibility. Initiatives related to street paving are excluded.
The deadline for submitting proposals will be open from Monday, October 26, to November 9. Residents registered in the municipality aged 16 and over, as well as entities that prove activity in the territory, can submit their initiatives through a general application at the District Boards or the municipal electronic headquarters.
Municipal services will study the feasibility of the received proposals. Subsequently, viable initiatives will be submitted to the Valuation and Monitoring Commission and the Territorial Council of each district for prioritization and approval.
The objective of this call is to promote the participation of residents and associative fabric in the improvement of public spaces, incorporating their proposals into investment decisions in their neighborhoods.
