The Leganés City Council, in collaboration with the Community of Madrid, launches the 'Magical Shops' campaign, which this year includes 550 establishments, breaking records, and will fill Plaza de España with family and magical activities.

Leganés's Plaza de España will transform this Saturday, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, into a magical fair for the whole family. The initiative, in its third edition, features the participation of 550 commercial establishments in the city, surpassing previous records and consolidating itself as the largest campaign of its kind in the Community of Madrid.
The space, over 500 square meters, will host various themed zones, including a magic school, a wand and spell shop, a magic boutique, a photo booth, Magicgolf, and a sign language academy. Additionally, there will be magic shows and entertainment by professionals.
Residents can receive gifts by presenting their purchase receipts from participating stores. The mayor of Leganés, Miguel Ángel Recuenco, highlighted the campaign's growth, from 20 participating shops two years ago to the current 550, noting the strong response from merchants and their efforts to increase visibility.
The campaign, organized by the City Council and the Directorate General of Commerce, Consumption, and Services of the Community of Madrid, also incorporates sustainability criteria with the use of recycled materials and inclusive activities for people with different abilities. The Councilor for Commerce and Local Development, José Marín, encouraged merchants to continue participating in these initiatives to support the sector.
