The Local Employment and Training Agency of Getafe (ALEF), in collaboration with Special Olympics Madrid and the Department of Social Welfare and Inclusion, has launched the third edition of its training program aimed at individuals with intellectual disabilities, reinforcing its commitment to their socio-labor inclusion in the municipality.

The main objective of this initiative is to enhance the employability of participants and facilitate their inclusion in the labor market through personalized training aligned with sector demands.
The program trains students as auxiliaries for recreational physical and sports activities. This training itinerary combines theoretical instruction with practical development and experience in sector companies.
The training content covers key aspects such as anatomy, nutrition, sports planning, support in sports facilities, and occupational risk prevention. Additionally, individualized career guidance is provided to assist participants in their professional integration process.
With this third edition, ALEF and Special Olympics Madrid continue a project that promotes training, employability, and inclusion for individuals with intellectual disabilities, opening new avenues for their professional development in Getafe.
