The mayor of Getafe, Sara Hernández, has signed a collaboration agreement with the Ayuda en Acción Foundation to improve employability in the municipality. This agreement, which will involve the active participation of the Local Agency for Employment and Training (ALEF), will implement orientation, training, and job placement pathways primarily aimed at young people at risk of social exclusion.
The strategic alliance unifies resources between the Getafe City Council and the social entity to foster employment and professional qualification in the city. The comprehensive program will cover everything from guidance and training to support and effective job placement, adapting to current labor market demands and paying special attention to vulnerable groups.
The Local Agency for Employment and Training (ALEF) will play a fundamental role in the development of this joint project, participating directly in the information, referral, and selection processes for participants.
Through this initiative, Getafe is strengthening its efforts by combining institutional and social resources to continue creating quality employment opportunities for its citizens.
