A young man has been seriously injured after being attacked with a bladed weapon this Saturday on Julio Romero de Torres street, in Parla. Emergency services received a call at 7:25 AM reporting a man with wounds to his chest and right side.

SUMMA 112 paramedics stabilized the victim at the scene of the assault and subsequently transferred him to the 12 de Octubre Hospital for specialized care.

Sources from the National Police indicated that the aggression occurred following an altercation between two groups. Investigations are currently underway to determine if the incident is related to youth gangs.
