A group of employees gathered this morning at the hospital's entrance in Móstoles, expressing their dissatisfaction with the current situation. The protest is part of two days of partial strikes scheduled for this week.
“"While the Group continues to increase its business volume, staff face increasing precariousness in their working conditions."
The union Comisiones Obreras, organizer of the protest, has denounced the lack of progress in negotiations with the company. Key demands include improved hiring and job stability, regulation of working hours and paid leave, salary increases, and the implementation of work-life balance measures.
Other requests include the creation of a professional promotion and mobility commission among the group's hospitals, regulation of overtime, recognition of seniority across all categories, and improved compensation for Sunday and holiday work. Access to remote work for compatible positions and the possibility of reduced hours for studies are also sought.
The mobilizations, which have also extended to other centers managed by the group in the Community of Madrid, such as those in Villalba and Infanta Elena de Valdemoro, include partial strikes during two time slots on April 21 and next Thursday, April 23. Additionally, concentrations are being held in front of the hospital facade both in the morning and afternoon.
“"After months of unanswered demands and, given the lack of progress in mediation spaces, the strike is a necessary tool to demand real improvements in working conditions."
