The incident occurred on Avenida Móstoles, close to the Alcorcón Central Renfe Commuter Train Station. Although the fire started hours earlier, authorities, including the Fire Department, reported the event on Monday night.
Alcorcón Firefighters confirmed that the affected vehicle was a considerably sized van, suggesting the scale of the blaze. Images released by the security force itself showed the intensity of the flames.

During the extinguishing operation, the Firefighters were supported by the Alcorcón Municipal Police, who arrived to secure the area and assist in the tasks. Despite the successful containment of the fire, its origins remain unknown, prompting an investigation to clarify the facts.
