The Valdemoro Local Police has activated its free key custody service, named ‘Vacaciones seguras’ (Safe Holidays), which will be operational until August 31st to enhance security in the municipality.

This initiative aims to facilitate police response to incidents in homes and businesses during owners' summer absences, thereby bringing police services closer to citizens.
Residents interested in participating must go to the Emergency Center to sign a key handover form and an entry authorization. This will allow the Local Police to access properties in case of serious incidents such as burglaries, fires, or floods, or if an alarm is triggered.
Following any intervention, officers will contact the owners or a provided emergency contact to inform them about the action taken.
For more information on this free service, citizens can call the Local Police numbers 092 and 91 809 22 13, or visit the Emergency Center in person at Avda. de España, 97.
Since its launch in 2002, over 900 residents have benefited from this security initiative.
