The Municipal Senior Center in Valdemoro has opened the registration period for its 2026-2027 training offerings, aimed at promoting the social, cultural, and recreational participation of veteran individuals.

From September 14th to 18th, between 8:30 AM and 1:00 PM, interested individuals can collect a ticket assigning a specific day and time for enrollment processing for the upcoming course. Personal registration requests or requests for another person will be accepted, with no turn reservation allowed. Presenting a user ID card (a photocopy or mobile photo is also valid) will be mandatory.
Along with the appointment ticket, registration forms and a list of workshops will be provided. This list details the teaching days, schedules, available spots, and class locations. The workshops will commence in October 2026 and conclude in May 2027.
The training program covers diverse areas such as education, literature, performing arts, music, dance, manual crafts, new technologies, and physical exercise and well-being. Some workshops will be free, including sewing, bobbin lace, French, English, and Tai Chi, while others, like active dance, maintenance gymnastics, and belly dance, will have a fee.
One-off, limited-duration workshops will also be offered. Additionally, disciplines such as mindfulness, reading, writing, computing, and social media will be taught, some in collaboration with the La Caixa Foundation.
While most workshops are held at the Municipal Senior Center, some activities will take place at other venues, including the Piscina Municipal Valdesanchuela, the Pabellón Juan Antonio Samaranch, and classrooms on Doctor Barraquer street.
