The political group has gathered information regarding the management of the municipal services company, highlighting two recent incidents related to potential failures in the bilateral loading systems of collection trucks. In one instance, an individual was injured after a mechanism detached, and a similar failure was reported the following day.
According to the Popular Party, these events could be linked to the condition and maintenance of the vehicle fleet, whose operational number has reportedly decreased significantly. This reduction would imply more intensive use of the trucks, potentially leading to greater wear and tear and maintenance deficiencies.
Furthermore, the group has pointed to possible waste management practices that, in their view, may not comply with current regulations. These include the temporary deposit of waste directly on the ground in a municipal parking lot for later removal, due to limitations in transfer centers and recycling points.

We are talking about potential safety failures with real consequences for people, a very significant reduction in resources, and practices that, if confirmed, could be contrary to current regulations. It is not enough to claim that everything is correct without providing reports, data, and without assuming political responsibilities. We need clear, verifiable answers, and as soon as possible."
In light of this situation, the Popular Party has requested detailed information on the fleet's condition, maintenance protocols, recorded incidents, and waste management procedures. They have also called for measures to ensure safety, compliance with regulations, and the proper provision of service in Alcorcón.
