The town of Alcorcon has been the scene of two significant robberies in a few days, one at the Museo del Jamón while customers were present, and another at the MediaMarkt in Parque Oeste via a ram-raid.

The restaurant Museo del Jamón experienced an assault last Saturday night. Several individuals burst into the establishment, which was open with numerous customers inside, using fire extinguishers to create confusion before stealing money from the cash register. The National Police has opened an investigation to clarify the events.
Just two days later, the MediaMarkt store in Parque Oeste was the target of a spectacular ram-raid during the early hours of Monday. The assailants, arriving in two high-end vehicles, smashed the entrance and used one of the cars to tear down the access gate. They stole mobile phones and other electronic devices before fleeing.
The rapid action of the security company allowed for the alert of the National Police, who initiated a pursuit along the A-5 and M-40 highways. Despite their efforts, the perpetrators managed to escape. The investigation suggests it was a meticulously planned robbery.
