The Metro and Cercanías train services in Alcorcón will see a significant reinforcement until next Thursday to facilitate the travel of the 42,047 students from the Community of Madrid taking the University Entrance Exam (PAU).

The Community of Madrid, through the Department of Transport, has announced an increase in train frequency to support students during the examination period. This enhancement aims to ensure students can reach university campuses on time without issues.
Specifically, stations on Metro lines 6 and 12 in Alcorcón will experience up to a 23% increase in service during peak hours. These enhancements will be implemented in the mornings (between 08:00 and 09:00) and afternoons (between 17:00 and 19:00). Stations benefiting on line 6 include Ciudad Universitaria, Cuatro Caminos, Guzmán el Bueno, Príncipe Pío, Argüelles, and Moncloa, while on line 12, stops such as Hospital de Fuenlabrada, Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, Getafe Central, and Leganés Central will see improvements.
Meanwhile, Cercanías will also contribute to easing congestion at key stations like El Casar, Fuenlabrada Central, Móstoles Central, and Alcorcón Central. The service on line C-4 will be reinforced with four additional trains running between Chamartín and Cantoblanco stations, particularly in the early morning from 08:00 and in the afternoon, to facilitate access to the UAM campus.
