The National Police pursued four individuals who carried out a ram-raid robbery at a technology store in Alcorcón, later fleeing via the M-40.

A ram-raid robbery occurred early Monday morning at an electronics and technology store located in the Parque Oeste commercial area of Alcorcón. After forcing entry, the perpetrators fled and were pursued by the National Police towards the M-40 highway.
The incident took place around 3:00 AM at a store belonging to the Media Markt chain, situated on Calle Estambul. The store's security company alerted authorities after observing two high-end cars parked in front of the establishment via surveillance cameras.
Surveillance footage showed four individuals exiting the vehicles. Armed with sledgehammers, they smashed the store's window and then attached a rope to the metal security gate. One of the cars then accelerated, pulling down the gate to allow the thieves access to the premises.
The robbery lasted only a few minutes. The thieves managed to take several mobile phones before quickly returning to the waiting cars, which were already running. The National Police initiated a pursuit that extended onto the A-5 and then the M-40. However, due to the power of the vehicles used by the suspects, they ultimately managed to escape.
