Local authorities in Alcorcón have launched various actions to address the increase in illegal occupations, particularly concentrated on Calle Madrid. The municipal government has assured that these interventions aim to bring calm back to the area's residents.
Over the past weekend, the Municipal Police reported the latest security developments. Through their official 'X' account, they detailed a summary of activities carried out, which included identifying individuals and vehicles, as well as making several arrests and recovering items for their rightful owners.
These interventions are proving fundamental in reducing incidents and restoring normality to the area.
Alcorcón's mayor, Candelaria Testa, indicated a week ago that the city council is awaiting judicial resolutions to act more decisively on Calle Madrid. The Municipal Police has reaffirmed its commitment, ensuring a constant presence, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to guarantee the safety of residents and continue working until the streets are completely calm and secure.
For the past two weeks, police operations in the premises on Calle Madrid have intensified. Despite this increase in security, the Alcorcón City Council has reiterated that the situation requires the support of judicial resolutions to achieve a significant and lasting change.
