The summer season in Pinto will officially commence with the opening of the municipal pool on June 12. Residents can enjoy the facilities until September 6. This year's main highlight is the renovation of the filtration systems and the replacement of the silica sand in the pool filters, ensuring improved water quality.
In addition to water improvements, maintenance work has been carried out on the pool structure. Specialized technicians have conducted a thorough study of the surrounding trees' condition to minimize the risk of falling branches during extreme summer weather events, such as heavy rain, hail, or wind.
Interventions have also included the cleaning, repair, and painting of the pool basins. Deteriorated surfaces have been addressed, cracks corrected, and a protective coating applied to enhance the durability and watertightness of the bathing areas, improving their overall appearance.
Other minor improvements complete the upgrades. These include the installation of grates in the beach area to prevent puddles and potential sinkholes, repairs to sections of drainage pipes, and the replacement of old bins located in the meadow area.
