The Community of Madrid has presented the fifth Mobile Citizen Service Office in Pinto, which will serve 16 municipalities and offer basic health assistance.

The Community of Madrid has presented in Pinto the fifth Mobile Citizen Service Office, aimed at municipalities with up to 65,000 inhabitants. The Minister of Presidency, Justice, and Local Administration, Miguel Ángel García Martín, along with the mayor of Pinto, Salomón Aguado, detailed that this mobile unit will travel weekly to 16 Madrid municipalities, providing between 3 and 4 hours of service in each.
The towns benefiting from this new route include Algete, Aranjuez, Arganda del Rey, Arroyomolinos, Ciempozuelos, Colmenar Viejo, Galapagar, Mejorada del Campo, Navalcarnero, Paracuellos de Jarama, Pinto, San Fernando de Henares, Torrelodones, Tres Cantos, Villanueva de la Cañada, and Villaviciosa de Odón. The office was stationed at the Plaza de la Constitución in Pinto for its presentation.
García Martín emphasized that the initiative aims to 'bring us closer to citizens so they can have all the information they need, and guarantee their access to public services.' With these five mobile offices, a total of 1.3 million residents of Madrid are expected to be served, improving proximity and accessibility to the administration.
One of the highlighted novelties is that the offices are equipped with the latest generation Semi-Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs), making them cardioprotected points. During the presentation in Pinto, a simulation of intervention in case of a heart attack was carried out, with members of the SUMMA 112 participating.
The minister stated that this measure reinforces the Community of Madrid's commitment to the safety and well-being of its citizens, offering a more comprehensive and secure service. Furthermore, the ease of use of the AEDs was explained, noting they can be operated by non-medical personnel.
The regional Executive has organized five training sessions for 42 people, including drivers and office staff, to ensure the proper use of these devices. Professionals from SUMMA 112 provided training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and simulated the response to a cardiac arrest.
