The city of Móstoles is gearing up for an intense cultural weekend, highlighted by the absolute premiere of 'Española fugaz' at the Teatro del Bosque, a contemporary Spanish dance and flamenco proposal.

Renowned dancer and choreographer Alejandro Lara will present his new creation, 'Española fugaz', this Saturday, April 11, at the Teatro del Bosque in Móstoles. The work, which merges Spanish dance and flamenco with a modern vision, explores the individual's relationship with time and the present.

From the deepest desire to succumb to the present and, at the same time, let oneself be carried away by immediacy. In a world that runs faster than our gaze, this work proposes to sustain speed, without being chained to it, to celebrate where we come from and, finally, to enjoy the present time.

The Alejandro Lara Dance Project company, founded in 2021, is responsible for this production that seeks a balance between tradition and modernity in the field of Spanish dance. The performance will begin at 8:00 PM, promising an experience that evokes memories and freedom in the face of the inevitably fleeting.
In addition to dance, Móstoles' cultural program offers other activities. Starting today, the exhibition 'Más Allá Del Blanco y Negro' can be visited at the Centro Sociocultural Norte-Universidad, showcasing photographic works by students from IES Luis Buñuel until May 17. For the youngest, the Biblioteca Central Almudena Grandes will host the baby storytelling session '¿Quieres que te lo cuente otra vez?' with two sessions this afternoon.
On Friday, April 10, the same library will be the setting for the oral narration 'Lorenza Malandanza' by Eugenia Manzanera. That same day, the Teatro El Soto will present the play 'Yo Sostenido', starring Víctor Elías and directed by Fran Perea. The weekend will conclude with the activity 'Llega la leyenda ¡plastiquera!' at the Centro Sociocultural El Soto and family film screenings such as 'La niñera mágica' at various sociocultural centers. The agenda will culminate on Sunday, April 12, with 'Mini break' by the Brodas Bros company at the Teatro del Bosque, a hip hop show for children.
