Móstoles will mobilize this September 2nd in support of Ceuta with a citizen gathering in Plaza de España. The event, scheduled for 8:00 PM, aims to show municipal and neighborhood backing for the autonomous city, which is facing significant migratory pressure and resource management challenges.
The initiative, promoted by the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP), aligns with similar demonstrations in other Spanish cities. The objective is to defend Ceuta and the territorial integrity of the country, in a context where the autonomous city's situation has been a focus of media attention.
The council is calling on citizens to participate in this display of solidarity, emphasizing the importance of unity and cohesion among Spain's different territories. The gathering in Móstoles is expected to reflect a joint response to complex situations.
The event advocates for coexistence and solidarity, under the slogan "when a part of Spain needs it, we are all with it." The aim is to convey a message of closeness and support to the residents of Ceuta facing their difficulties.
The largest demonstration is anticipated to take place in Plaza de Cibeles, in front of the Madrid City Hall.
