The Móstoles City Council is finalizing the undergrounding of a power line in the El Soto neighborhood, which will allow for the removal of a high-voltage tower on Avenida Olímpica.

The project, with an investment of 157,751 euros, addresses a long-standing request from local residents. The primary goal of this initiative is to enhance safety, accessibility, and urban integration in this part of the municipality.
The civil works are being carried out by the local government and are expected to be completed next month. Once the construction is finished, the final certificate will be presented to the electricity distribution company.
Following this, the municipal government will request the official commissioning certificate for the new underground installation from the Ministry of Industry and Tourism, completing the necessary administrative process for the final removal of the overhead structure.
