The Department of Security, Emergencies, and Environment of Móstoles has organized a week of free activities from June 1st to 6th to commemorate World Environment Day.

Most of the events will take place at the Environmental Education Center (CEA) in Parque Finca Liana. The program includes workshops for adults on homemade remedies for gardens, pest control, natural cosmetics, forest aspects, and the spirulina harvesting process.

On June 2nd, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, the CEA will host the inauguration of the cutting bank, where attendees can exchange their own plant cuttings and receive a natural rooting agent.
As part of the celebration, on Friday, June 5th, schoolchildren from the municipality will attend the inauguration of the Wishing Tree, located in the children's area near the entrance of Parque Finca Liana via Benito Pérez Galdós street.
In the Parque Natural de El Soto, a session on regenerative gardening will take place on Thursday, June 4th (10:00 AM - 11:30 AM). On Saturday, June 6th, a family workshop will be held to design "your bug".
Registration for these activities will be completed via email to the responsible entities, as indicated on the information poster. During the week, mobile clean points and the Centro Integral de Residuos Especiales (CIRE) will distribute containers to facilitate the collection and recycling of used domestic oil.
