The exhibition, organized by the Department of Education and Culture in collaboration with the Aula Abierta Association of Plastic Artists, is located in the Sala del Reloj of the cultural center. It traces the evolution of printmaking artists in the town, from works created in the 1990s, coinciding with the launch of the Printmaking Workshop at the Centro Sociocultural Caleidoscopio, to current productions.
The Printmaking Workshop has seen continuous development, with increasing quality of work and annual participation in the STAMPA fair in Madrid. In 2007, this activity was formally established as the Aula Abierta Association of Plastic Artists, which continued its growth with municipal support, later moving to the Centro Cultural Villa de Móstoles.
Since 2010, the association has consolidated its trajectory with larger-scale projects, presented in various venues in Móstoles and other areas of the Community of Madrid. The current exhibition serves as recognition of this activity and the individuals involved over time.
Currently, the association continues to offer training in printmaking for those interested in starting or exploring the possibilities of this artistic discipline.
