The operation, organized by the Government Delegation, will include National Police officers from various specialized units, such as the Police Intervention Unit, the Prevention and Reaction Unit, the Air Unit with drones, the Provincial Information Brigade, and Canine Guides. Officers from the Getafe Municipal Police and the Civil Guard's Traffic Group (ATGC) will also participate.
This deployment will be complemented by personnel from Samur-Civil Protection, the Fire Department, and the security staff of the Madrid football club itself. The match has been classified as High Risk by the Standing Committee of the State Commission against Violence, Racism, Xenophobia and Intolerance in Sport, necessitating additional security measures by the clubs.
These measures include enhancements in ticket sales, segregation of fan groups in the stands, and thorough control of stadium access. Security forces will intensify preventive surveillance, particularly targeting fan groups, in close coordination with all stakeholders involved in organizing the sporting event and protecting attendees.
Approximately 670 Serbian fans with tickets are expected to attend. The Coliseum's capacity is currently limited to around 10,200 people due to ongoing renovation works. To facilitate police operations and optimize security checks, all attendees are advised to arrive at the stadium well in advance.
