National Police agents have arrested a man in Alcorcón accused of a public health offense after being intercepted with over a kilo of MDMA.

The incident occurred on May 14th, when officers established a police checkpoint in the municipality. During the operation, a vehicle was stopped, and a man was traveling in the rear seat who, according to police sources, appeared agitated and had asked the driver to avoid the checkpoint.
Upon searching the vehicle, officers discovered a black bag, sealed with gold lettering, in the lower part of the rear compartment. Inside, they found a plastic freezer bag containing several whitish rocks.
Subsequent tests confirmed that the seized substance was MDMA, weighing over one kilogram.

Based on these findings, the officers proceeded with the suspect's arrest for an alleged public health offense.

The arrested individual was subsequently handed over to judicial authorities.
