The Leganés City Council is preparing the 'LEGAEMPLE@' job fair, scheduled for late October or November, aiming to facilitate employment.

The town of Leganés is gearing up to host a new edition of its Job Fair, named “LEGAEMPLE@”. The event is scheduled to take place in late October or during November, with the participation of approximately 40 companies and entities. These organizations will have stands to offer job positions and conduct live selection processes.
The initiative places a special emphasis on profiles of young people, women, and individuals over 45, as well as other groups that may face greater difficulties in accessing the labor market. This job fair is an initiative that the current government team revived in November 2024, after a decade without being held. In its previous edition, 1,200 job offers were presented by the 20 participating companies.
The “LEGAEMPLE@” fair will take place at the 1º de Mayo Training Center, located at C/ Química, number 1. The event will span two days, each lasting seven hours. It will feature an exhibition area with 20 stands: 15 for companies and five for collaborating entities, in addition to an institutional stand from the Leganés City Council itself.
Complementing the job opportunities, the fair will include a program of workshops and work sessions. These groups, with up to 30 participants, will address crucial topics for job searching, such as improving professional skills, coaching, innovation, and other relevant issues for accessing the current labor market.
