The mayor of Leganés, Miguel Ángel Recuenco, has confirmed that police forces will continue carrying out raids in nightlife establishments around La Cubierta to combat crime.

The mayor described these actions as a "forceful" measure to reduce crime rates in the city, adding his firm intention to eradicate the presence of offenders. "I don't want a single rogue in Leganés," stated the mayor.
Recuenco referred to the raid conducted last weekend, which resulted in the identification of nearly a thousand people and three arrests. The mayor emphasized the importance of these interventions, noting the difference in results obtained since the start of these operations.
