This agreement, initially for four years with a possibility of extension, will allow the Town Hall to offer internship positions tailored to different academic profiles. Each call will specify the requirements, including the necessary qualification, a minimum duration of 100 hours, dates, and required knowledge, potentially including financial or in-kind aid.
“"We want to attract young talent and offer first opportunities that help students complete their training and gain experience."
The initiative represents a milestone, being the first agreement of its kind that the Leganés Town Hall has signed with a university, underscoring its commitment to the academic field and the professional development of young people. During the internship period, each student will have a tutor who will guide their learning and evaluate their progress.
Upon completion of the internships, the university will receive a detailed report on the student's performance, acquired competencies, and degree of achievement, which will have academic validity. This collaboration reinforces the URJC's objective of building bridges between the educational environment and professional reality, providing students with a valuable opportunity to begin their professional careers within public administration.
