The rising fuel prices, influenced by international conflicts, have caused concern among citizens. Adding to this situation is the demand from sector workers, who have decided to carry out national strikes.
The strike has been scheduled to coincide with the May holiday weekend's departure and return operations, which could cause significant inconvenience for drivers. The stoppages will take place on Thursday, April 30, between 12:00 and 16:00, and will continue throughout Sunday, May 3.
Unions are seeking a collective agreement that includes a minimum annual salary increase of 2%, in addition to a guarantee clause linked to the real CPI plus 0.5%. They also demand improved work-life balance and reduced working hours.
