This Friday, Fuenlabrada will be filled with color for the 'March of Colors', an event that will conclude with a large powder fight and a musical session.

The 'March of Colors' will kick off at Plaza de España at 8:00 PM, concluding at the old fairgrounds on Calle Extremadura half an hour later. The event will feature the traditional colorful powder fight and a music set by Dj Larita ZZ.
Before the parade, starting at 6:30 PM, Plaza de España will host a live performance by Imperio Reina, an all-female batucada group. Later, the Valkirias batucada will provide rhythm for the multicolor parade.
The councilor responsible for Citizen Rights, Raquel López, emphasized the importance of diversity in Fuenlabrada, stating, “In Fuenlabrada, we understand that the richness of our city is precisely its diversity. A prosperous city is not only one that grows economically, but one that progresses in equality and social justice for all its citizens.”
Participation in the march is free with prior registration and is open to all ages. Previous editions have seen nearly 3,000 participants.
Under the slogan ‘Pride to be, freedom to love’, a wide variety of activities are being held throughout June, organized by the City Council in collaboration with local entities, aiming to showcase Fuenlabrada's pride and commitment to sexual diversity.
On Saturday, the Casa de la Música will host the Dragbaret Gala featuring Queer Morgana and the presentation of the Premios Fuenla Entiende awards. Additionally, from June 22 to 28, municipal fountains and buildings will display rainbow colors. The Centro para la Igualdad 8 de Marzo is distributing multicolor flags until June 19 for those who wish to hang them on their balconies.
