Flexicar Fuenlabrada has confirmed the absence of its center Jonathan Kasibabu, who underwent surgery this Wednesday for a nasal septum fracture sustained in the last game, a significant setback for the team in its playoff push.

Kasibabu's injury occurred in the final minutes of last Saturday's match in Zamora. An opponent's arm struck the Congolese player's nose during a rebound contest, preventing him from returning to the court in the decisive stretch of the game.
Although the exact recovery time will depend on the evolution of the injury, this absence represents a significant blow to the 'Fuenla's' interior game, especially at a crucial point in the season as the team vies for a playoff spot.
Coach Iñaki Martín is now left with limited options at the center position, relying solely on newcomer Gustavo Lima and Brooks DeBisschop, who is currently dealing with back issues.
Kasibabu has been a key player for the team, participating in all 27 league games. His performance has steadily improved, averaging 9 points and 4.8 rebounds per game, highlighting the importance of his absence for the Fuenlabrada squad.
