The Alcorcón Fire Department intervened this Tuesday to extinguish a fire in a vehicle belonging to the Municipal Services Company (Esmasa), with no injuries reported.

The incident occurred on Esteban Márquez street when the employees traveling in the van noticed smoke coming from the vehicle's exhaust pipe. According to Esmasa sources, no flames were registered.
Upon detecting the issue, the employees activated the established occupational risk prevention protocol. The workers' actions, combined with the rapid intervention of the Firefighters and the Municipal Police, helped control the incident without personal consequences.
This event marks the second fire reported in Alcorcón in recent days. On June 4th, a residential property in the municipality suffered a fire that left several people affected by smoke inhalation. In that operation, Alcorcón Firefighters, the Municipal Police, and SUMMA 112 personnel responded to extinguish the flames and secure the home. Affected individuals were transported to a hospital, and two dogs also received assistance.
