A fire that broke out in an open-air lot in Parla has destroyed 13 heavy vehicles and various disused materials, also spreading to surrounding vegetation.

The Firefighters of the Community of Madrid have successfully extinguished a fire that originated in a compound located next to the M-408 highway in Parla. The blaze affected 13 heavy vehicles and disused materials, also spreading to nearby vegetation and generating a significant column of smoke.
A total of 13 units from the regional Fire Department were deployed to the scene, as reported by Emergencies 112 of the Community of Madrid. After several hours of intervention, the flames were brought under control, and firefighting teams are currently carrying out finishing and cooling operations in the area.
The Summa 112 dispatched a medical unit preventively, but fortunately, no injuries were reported. The Local Police of Parla and the National Police also participated in the operation, with the latter now in charge of the investigation to determine the causes of the incident.
