The Alcorcón Fire Department had to intervene on Monday afternoon to control a fire that originated in the underground parking lot of a residential building. The incident occurred on the fourth floor below ground level.
The rapid response of the local fire department allowed the flames to be extinguished, preventing the incident from causing greater damage to the building's structure. Subsequently, the affected area was ventilated.
“"Garage fire (floor -4), with three vehicles affected. The fire was controlled, preventing major damage. Only material damage is to be regretted."
Despite the dramatic visuals, the fire was laboriously controlled and extinguished by the teams dispatched to Sierra de Albarracín street. No injuries were reported, but material damage to the three vehicles involved is regrettable.
