Alfonso Serrano, Secretary General of the PP of Madrid, stated this Tuesday that several socialist municipalities in the region, such as Alcorcón, Getafe, and Parla, have missed significant opportunities. According to Serrano, this situation is due to a lack of "ambition" and "will" from their respective mayors.
In contrast, Serrano cited other towns like Leganés and Móstoles, governed by the People's Party, suggesting they are indeed capitalizing on their potential. These remarks were made during a visit to ongoing works in Leganés, accompanied by the town's mayor, Miguel Ángel Recuenco.
The popular party leader acknowledged that the Community of Madrid has promoted "great things" in municipalities managed by the PSOE. However, he attributed the inability to "go further" to the attitude of "mayors who have surrendered."
